Communication Fellows

While VOICE workshop offerings are open to all HGSE students, a smaller strand of Communication Fellows receives intensive preparation and is eligible for paid roles as peer coaches and faculty communications advisers and partners.

HGSE students must apply to be Communication Fellows, and accepted fellows will be “coached to be coaches” in the fall semester and take an active role in working with HGSE students, programs, initiatives, and faculty members in the spring semester. Communication Fellows collaborate on research, writing, media development, and more to meet broader communications needs for impact inside and outside of the HGSE. Communication Fellows will be active learners and get practical, paid consultancy opportunities.

Fellow Expectations
The expectations of the Communication Fellows will be attending both a "Public Storytelling" and "Developing Your Media Presence" workshop (each offered twice in the Fall Semester) and attending 2 additional elective workshops, along with a monthly cohort brunch and occasional site visit requirement.
